8 Ways to Make Your Web Content More Reader-Friendly

my 2 cents: The first 2 points of this article get right to the point – when we surf the net we truly are Impatient Searchers. Unlike reading a book or magazine where we sit down to relax and enjoy some R&R, when we fire up our computers and click on the Internet Explorer icon we are on a hunt for information!  With 79% (Jakob Nielson’s seminal web usability study from 1997) of us scanning rather than reading, it makes sense that the next point is to Make it Snappy. In other words, the web is not the time to write page after page of tightly woven text at an 8 point font! Give your readers the information they are looking for fast or lose them!
